12. Make a list of places to visit in Budapest

We will be visiting Budapest after we have visited Vienna. I wanted to pick out a list of possible places to visit while we are there. Again we are using a DK Top 10 guide to find our way around.
We arrive on the 15th of October late in the afternoon on the international train from Vienna so we will not plan anything for the 15th. The 16th is our third wedding anniverary, so we will be going out for dinner in a nice restaurant (Margaret-Anne doesn't where it is yet).
We can choose from the following things to do while we are there:

Take the open-top bus tour
Take a day and night cruise along the Danube
Walk along the banks of the Danube
Visit the Margaret Park on the Danube
Visit the Gellert Hotel and Spa
Sunday Brunch on the terrace at the Gellert
Visit the Buda and Castle District
Stroll along the Vaci Utca

9. Make a list of place to visit in Vienna

I have been looking through the Top 10 Vienna travel book by DK. We mostly use these books for city breaks as they have a top 10 for the city and then again by area, they have a top 10 for everything from museums, attractions, restaurants etc.
Anyway back to the list for Vienna. We have three days in Vienna, we are arriving on Monday the 12th of October so we will not plan to visit anywhere that day. We have a choice of the following on the Tuesday and Wednesday:

Central Vienna
Stephansdom
Hoher Markt (watch the Anker Uhr at 12:00)
Stephansplatz
Hofburg Palace
Spanish Riding School
Cafe Demel (Vienna oldest cafe)

State Opera and Museum quarter
Statoper
Museums quarter
Volksgarten
Ratthaus Park

Should be enough to keep us going for a couple of days. Don't want to do too much on the 14th as that is Margaret-Anne's birthday (won't say which one). I have planned a nice dinner for us that evening to celebrate.

40. Make a photo book for our Honeymoon

Just finished putting the photo book together from our Honeymoon. Enjoyed going through the photos of Boston, our cruise to the Bahamas, Cape Cod and Salem. Used the same type of A4 Personalised photobook.
Both books (Honeymoon and Japan) are ordered so we should recieve them in a weeks time, but with the royal mail strikes in the UK it might take a bit longer.
Anyway looking forward to seeing the finished result.

39. Make a photo book for our Japan trip

We just finished making the photo book from our trip to Japan, it was good to look through all the photographs again (around 1200). We really did squeeze a lot into the time we had there. We used the website photobox, to create the book. We chose the A4 Personalised photobook, as there is a special offer to get a second book half price and we are also planning to make a photobook from our honeymoon.

66. Wear whatever Margaret-Anne knits for me at least once

My lovely wife knitted me a pair of woolen socks, excellent for wearing around the house. Since I'm at home at the moment with a bad back, I got to wear them for a whole day. Now she is busy knitting a scarf for herself.

32. Make a blog to keep track of 101 things

This is the first task I have completed of my 101 things in 1001 days. I will use this blog as a record of my achievements over the next 1001 days.
The idea for this cam from my wife who is also doing 101 things, she discover the idea at the Day Zero project website.
